Upon arrival to the center, parents must escort their children to
their classrooms and make sure that all belongings are placed in their assigned cubbies. It is imperative that every child is signed
in and out in the front office daily. While children may be dropped off and picked up at any time within their scheduled shift, all children
are requested to be at the center by 9:00a.m. if they are in first shift. Any child arriving prior to their scheduled shift will be charged
the applicable fee.
Based on your child's weekly schedule, each child must be picked up by a certain hour. In most cases unless you are part of a 1st shift Plus Program your child is scheduled to be picked up by either 6:15p.m.or 10:00p.m. Failure to do so will result in a $1.00 per minute charge per child for every minute you are late and a $5.00 dinner fee should you not arrive prior to dinner being served. This late fee is due by Friday at 6:00p.m.of the week it was incurred. Also, on the day prior to a holiday when the center will be closed, all parents are required to pick up their children by 6:00p.m. Any parent not present at that time will incur a charge of $1.00 per child for every minute you are late. These fees are due by the following school day in order for your child to return. Notices and reminders for parents of these days will be posted early as a reminder. During the P.M. routes the van drivers are not permitted to leave the van unattended to go look for children. When children are not in the designated pick up area, it will disrupt the route causing lengthy delays for children waiting at other schools. The Children's House is not responsible for bus routes on the first or last days of school.
